Submit application for Critical Language Scholarship

January

Identify summer opportunities, either Education Abroad or an Internship

Submit applications for following opportunities:

February to March

If studying abroad the following Fall apply for:

Apply for UCARE and/or SROP for summer research funding

March to April

Apply for UCARE and McNair research funding

Summer

Study abroad or complete domestic internship (consider applying for Washington D.C. Professional Enrichment Academy)

Junior

September

Submit application for Critical Language Scholarship

October

If studying abroad in spring make sure to apply for scholarship by appropriate deadline.

November

Talk to professors about crafting a research question for your thesis

Submit Application for Boren Fellowship

March

Submit paperwork for thesis to College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office

April

Meet with Dr. Laura Damuth to begin application process for:

Fulbright Fellowship, Gates Cambridge Fellowship, Marshal Scholarship, and/or Mitchell Scholarship (see full list at Fellowship Office)

Summer

Study and take exams for graduate or professional school

Complete domestic internship (consider applying for Washington D.C. Professional Enrichment Academy)

Senior

September
