Global Cafe

A monthly event hosted by Global Studies, Global Cafe is an event for all interested students, community members and faculty. We pair coffee and snacks with discussions of international issues such as careers in diplomacy, human rights, current issues, volunteer and internship opportunities. Students are encouraged to actively participate, discussing their own perspectives and sharing the views and experiences of their peers from around the world.

Past Thompson Forum events have featured, among many others: Mikhail Gorbachev, former president of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; Maki Mandela, daughter of the former South African president; the Rev.
